What is ScopeFlag?
ScopeFlag is a scope management tool built for freelancers, designers, and agencies. It helps you define project scope, get client sign-off, track change requests, and monitor budgets — so you always get paid for the work you do.
How much does ScopeFlag cost?
ScopeFlag offers a free plan that includes 3 projects, 5 deliverables per project, and 3 change requests per project. The Pro plan is $10/month and includes unlimited projects, deliverables, change requests, reports, and priority support.
What is a scope agreement?
A scope agreement is a shareable page that lists your project deliverables and exclusions. You send your client a unique link, and they review and agree to the scope with one click. This creates a clear record of what was agreed upon before work begins.
How do change requests work?
When your client asks for something outside the original scope, you create a change request in ScopeFlag with a description and cost impact. Your client receives an approval link where they can approve or decline the change. Approved changes automatically update the project budget.
Do my clients need a ScopeFlag account?
No. Your clients interact with scope agreements and change requests through unique, secure links. They can review, agree, approve, or decline without creating an account.
How does budget tracking work?
When you create a project, you set an original budget. As change requests are approved, the additional costs are tracked automatically. You can see your original budget, approved extras, and current total at a glance on your dashboard.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Your account stays on the Pro plan until the end of your current billing period, then reverts to the Free plan. Your data is never deleted when you downgrade.
Is my data secure?
Yes. ScopeFlag uses encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), bcrypt password hashing, and JWT-based authentication. Your data is stored in a secured PostgreSQL database. We never sell or share your data with third parties.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can request account deletion at any time by emailing support@scopeflag.com. We will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days of your request.
